Getting Started: Character Feats |
|
Character Feat Trees: Feats are added skills which enhance a character’s abilities as well as granting additional combos. Players can select how to specialize their characters skills by selecting these “feats” or skills by allocating points earned by advancing in levels. Characters begin earning points at level 10 and will receive 1 point for each level earned after that. Characters also receive a bonus point at level 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 for a total of 78 feat points. · Each class will have 3 feat trees to choose from · Points may be allocated to any tree (your not limited to specializing in just a single tree but you can if you choose to do so). · Of the 3 feat trees, one tree will be for the character’s archetype and 2 trees will be specific to their own specific class. · Each tree is comprised of multiple tiers. The higher the tier, the more powerful or beneficial the feat. Each tier will require you to have invested some points within the same tree. Essentially its 5 pts times the tier level. For example, tier 1 requires you to have invested 5 points in the same tree. Tier 2 would require 10 pts, tier 3 would require 15 pts to have been allocated in any of the lower tiers. · Some feats have a requirement such as having reached a certain rank in another skill before being able to train in it.
With all the choices in feats to train in, it will truly create a lot of variety. For instance one person may train their guardian heavily in the Juggernaut tree while another may choose to be very strong in the Tempest tree. Each tree providing its own benefits. Some guardian players may choose a balance between all their trees… The same goes for all classes and their respective feat trees…..its all up to you and how you wish to play your character.
